Tubes are used as low-voltage oscillators with low steepness of electronic frequency tuning. These backward-wave tubes differ from other devices used in measuring systems in low supply voltage. Tubes can be completed with ferrite uncouplers for better perfofmance of radio-measuring equipment. Tubes meet requirements of compact measuring systems as they have a packaged metal-ceramic construction, magnetic screening and wide frequency band.
